Scholarships named for those who paved the way
Publishing in Color Scholarships provide selected applicants with free admission to a future Publishing in Color conference. Preference will be given to prospective attendees unable to afford the regular registration fee. We are pleased to report many scholarships have been awarded for Publishing in Color conferences! In order to respect their privacy, individual award recipients will not be named.
The following scholarships cover the cost of attendance to a virtual conference only but not travel nor lodging or any other costs. They are intended for students and others who cannot afford the registration fee, and do not guarantee one-on-one appointments with conference speakers.
Applications open here when conference registration begins. In 2026, we decided to honor several individuals with named scholarships. We also support the ReachUP! Scholarship awarded to applicants through ReachUP! Magazine). Publishing in Color also partners with the ECPA to discount the entry fee to the annual ECPA Art of Writing event.
The Unshakable Faith Scholarship
Named for Dr. Carey H. Latimore IV, author of Unshakable Faith, for college
students. Three of these scholarships are made available spring 2026.
The Matthew Parker Scholarship
Named for the Global Summit founder, author, and consultant. Three of
these scholarships will be awarded spring 2026.
The Brian Allain PIC Founder Scholarship
Conference admission covered for those with demonstrated financial need. Three individual scholarships available spring 2026.
The Jan Spivey Gilchrist Scholarship
Named after the award-winning author and illustrator of more than 100 books.

Scholarship Applications
Scholarships for free attendance at Publishing in Color conferences are available. Preference is given to students and those unable to afford the regular registration fee. Please fill out and submit the form below. Feedback on your application will be provided to you no later than two weeks prior to the conference.
Please note that scholarships cover the cost of the conference itself but not any other expenses and do not guarantee one-on-one appointments with speakers.

We welcome applications from Christian content creators at all stages of their journey. Whether you are just beginning or already established, if you are committed to growth and sharing your voice, we want to hear from you.
The scholarships, limited to those specified at this site, are limited to conference registration fee
There are a limit of three scholarships in each category: ReachUP!, Dr. Carey Latimore, Matthew Parker, Jan Spivey Gilchrist, and Brian Allain. Each applicant may apply for only one scholarship total.
Our review committee evaluates applications based on merit, need, and alignment with our mission. You will receive notification of the decision within two weeks of application.
The scholarship must be used for its stated purpose: attendance at the designated PIC Conference. We trust you to take full advantage in your participation in the conference sessions.
