FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions and Answers.

When can I register for the next conference?

Twice a year currently, we open registration for the next conference 2 to 3 months in advance. For example, fall conference registration has opened in September; spring conference registration for 2026 opens in March here. We open registration when the majority of conference presenters have confirmed their participation and you can see what they will provide.

For how long can I access conference content?

We make conference content available for at least one month after the conference ends.

How do I get appointments with conference presenters?

Most, though not all, of the presenters offer a number of appointments. When you pay your registration fee to attend the conference, you will receive a code to access available appointments on this site. Each paid registrant requests two appointments. These are first-come, first-serve and are scheduled at speakers’ discretion following the conference week.

How do I apply for a needs-based scholarship to attend Publishing in Color?

Apply here; it’s easy. Please be prepared to share information about why you want and need one, along with accurate contact information on how we can respond to you regarding our decision. You can see more scholarship information here [[link to scholarship information page]].

How do I know about and join the virtual sessions and workshops?

Access the conference schedule in advance of conference week; the final schedule is subject to change. Access to the video and zoom links becomes available the week before the conference begins. Please note that all sessions are scheduled Eastern Time. You need a mobile phone or computer to access the conference content.

How are conference speakers selected?

Conference speakers are selected from Publishing in Color’s network of professional relationships. For more information, contact us at Publishing_In_Color@proton.me
