Dr. Gloria Thomas Anderson

Gloria loves worship. A licensed social worker, author, minister, and recognized expert in Advance Care Planning, she believes God’s purpose for her is to inspire hearts and encourage souls. Given her interdisciplinary Ph.D. in Curriculum and instruction, and Educational Leadership, Policy, and Foundations, plus 18 years of university-level social work education experience, she leads her national initiative engaging in care planning and end-of-life preparation. Dr. Anderson’s The African-American Spiritual and Ethical Guide to End-of-Life Care: What Y’all Gon’ Do with Me?, is recognized as a CDC-recommended resource.
