Bruce R Barbour has been active in book publishing for more than forty years, holding executive positions at several publishing houses, including Fleming H Revell Company (family owned business founded in 1870), Barbour and Company (co-founder and Exec VP), Thomas Nelson (VP, Publisher), and Random House (VP, Publisher). He founded Literary Management Group, a full-service literary agency and publishing consulting firm that has represented best-selling authors and properties, consulted with publishing houses including Zondervan, Thomas Nelson, Hachette, and others, as well as packaged books for speakers, associations, and corporations.
